L/A NORDIQUES YOUTH HOCKEY

The L/A Nordiques are a MEAHA sanctioned youth hockey organization which will call the Androscoggin Bank Colisée home starting this 2017-2018 season!

The L/A Nordiques program aims to develop character, good sportsmanship, discipline and teamwork through youth hockey in a family friendly environment.

We are committed to the development of the sport through the improvement of individual player skills, team building and physical and mental training. We will accomplish this by providing qualified, enthusiastic and professional coaching, the most progressive teaching techniques and specialized training programs. The L/A Nordiques will foster the will to compete in all of our athletes as well as prepare them to become contributing members of society.

Tier IV House League Hockey

2017-2018 MITE PROGRAM
$500 | Birth Years 2009 and up

Season runs September to end of February. Players will play an estimated 20+ games through the season. Teams have one 60 minute skills session and one 60 minute Half-Ice practice per week with one tournament. Practice Jersey & Game Socks are included.

2017-2018 SQUIRT, PEEWEE & BANTAM PROGRAM
$715 | Squirt: 2007-2008 | Peewee: 2005-2006 | Bantam: 2003-2004

Season runs September to end of February. Players will play an estimated 20+ games through the season. Teams have one 60 minute skills session and one 60 minute Half-Ice practice per week with one tournament. Practice Jersey & Game Socks are included.

Tier II & II Travel Hockey

2017-2018 SQUIRT, PEEWEE & BANTAM PROGRAM
$1800 | Squirt: 2007-2008 | Peewee: 2005-2006 | Bantam: 2003-2004

Season runs September to March 1. Players will play an estimated 30+ games through the season. Teams have one 60 minute skills session and two 60 minute Half-Ice practice per week with two tournaments (includes State Tournament). Players will also have 20 – 60 minute off-ice training sessions per season with PucDevelopment. Practice Jersey & Game Socks are included.

Under the Direction Of

The L/A Nordiques Learn to Play program starts with learning the basics of  the game, passing, stick-handling but it also prides itself in teaching respect, teamwork, responsibility and how to work hard. Our program aims to build character on and off the ice with rewards that will last much loner than hockey season.

CAM ROBICHAUD
Head Coach NA3HL / Director of Youth Player Development

Coach Robichaud is entering his fifth year as a coach and first with the L/A Fighting Spirit. Coach Robichaud has coached at the U14, U18, High School, Jr. B and Jr. A level. Cam has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management/Sports Management from Southern New Hampshire University. Prior to college, Cam played juniors for the Nepean Raiders in the CCHL.  Cam is the owner of PucDevelopment Hockey Training Facility. Coach Robichaud’s goal is to help players reach their full potential as a student/athletes.

VERONICA WHYTE
Skating Director

Veronica has 8 years of power skating coaching experience in Canada and is entering her third year working with players in the Lewiston/Auburn area. She has worked with players at the Jr. A, Major Junior, and NHL levels as well as with hockey academies in Ottawa, Ontario. As a skater she is internationally recognized for achieving Gold status in all 4 figure skating disciplines.

Veronica enjoys working with skaters of all ages/abilities and her love for skating makes her sessions effective and engaging. Her goal is to pass on her knowledge and passion for skating so that players reach their maximum potential. She will work hard to help every player achieve their goals.
