Home to Youth, High School and Junior programming, we are very proud of our strong history of hockey at the Androscoggin Bank Colisée.
We are home to the L/A Nordiques Youth Hockey Organization, Lewiston & Scarborough High Schools as well as the L/A Fighting Spirit Hockey Club of the NA3HL. We are also proud to host the Maine Principals High School Hockey State Championships as well as charity hockey games such as the Lewiston Police Athletic League (PAL) vs. the Boston Bruins Alumni.
The strong showing of Lewiston and St. Dom’s high schools has resulted in several state and New England high school championships through the years. The longest continuous tenants of the Civic Center have been playing hockey on Birch Street since the building’s inception in 1958. The high school tournaments to this day continue to bring in a raucous audience of rabid fans and serve as a reminder of why the Civic Center was built in the first place.
